Cooper's Cottage lies on the outskirts of Saxilby village which has a number of shops, including a Co-Op supermarket, a Post Office, Railway Station and several take away shops.

The property is set within the grounds of the owner's home which is a former farm set in 21 acres of grassland. Views of the River Till, Fossdyke canal and open fields can be enjoyed from all aspects of the property. The local area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts. The historic city of Lincoln is only six miles away, with it's famous Cathedral and Castle. The Brayford Waterfront complex provides a number of restaurants, pubs and a cinema whilst the old Bailgate area is a unique shopping experience mixing old and new with lots of original shops and restaurants. Lincoln has a regular farmer's market and a large railway station for access.

The Fossdyke Canal towpath across the road provides an easy stroll to the local pub where food can be obtained all day at the picturesque Burton Waters Marina.

Lincolnshire itself offers a paradise for antique lovers with regular fairs at the nearby Lincolnshire and Newark Show Grounds and  Hemswell Antique centre. Aircraft lovers can visit RAF Waddington and guests will see the Red Arrows fly over on a regular basis giving a free display as they practise from nearby RAF Scampton.

The Lincolnshire show in June and Christmas Market in December are also busy attractions not to be miss
